The Gift 2007
It isn't winter without a big, strong beer to cozy up with. The Gift is just that beer. Traditionally a Mocha Porter, our brewers have decided to switch gears and go another route this year. The Gift 2007 is a dopplebock, and weighing it at 7%, this big malty beer sips perfect next to the fire, in the company of family and friends. Give The Gift of Great Beer this year!!!

Hops: Herbruke, Horizon
Yeast: German Lager
Alcohol: 7% by weight

Rich and malty, Festi is our tribute to the great German lager. Each year, Festi comes out just in time for Oktoberfest. (And Septemberfest. And Novemberfest.)
- Malts: 2-row Pale and Munich
- Hops: Perle (Bittering), Fuggle (aroma)
- Yeast: Lager
- Alcohol: 5.8% by weight
- Original Gravity: 14.0 Balling
The Gift
This winter beer owes its dark color and deep flavor to Shenandoah Joe coffee, roasted locally in the shadow of the Blue Ridge. While Starr Hill's mission is to bring the gift of great beer all year long, every winter we get to give you The Gift.
- Malts: 2-row Pale, Caramel, Munich, and Chocolate
- Hops: Perle (Bittering), Willamette (aroma)
- Yeast: American Ale
- Alcohol: 5.4% by weight
- Original Gravity: 14.5 Balling
Stinky
Don't let the name scare you away from our newest arrival. A lot of hops might give Stinky a lot of smell, but it also gives this beer even more taste. Look for it—or rather, sniff for it—this spring.
- Malts: 2-row Pale, Caramel, Munich, and Wheat
- Hops: Centinneal (Bittering), Cascade & Willamette (aroma)
- Yeast: American Ale
- Alcohol: 6.8% by weight
- Original Gravity: 17.0 Balling
